EPISODE 006

Somia Farid Silber was six years old when Edible Arrangements opened its first store, born from a counter in the back of her dad's flower shop in East Haven, Connecticut. She was drawn in early, close enough to skewer grapes, wrap arrangements, and listen in on vendor calls, and went on to work in nearly every part of the business. In 2024, founder Tariq Farid handed her the reins.
Today she serves as CEO of Edible Brands, home to the original gifting business, now hundreds of franchise locations, and Roti, a Mediterranean fast-casual brand. She's also CEO of Edibles.com, which brings hemp-derived THC brands directly to consumers.
